There is a saying that I have heard. Bit grim and I don't know its origins, but it fits.

"There is more than one way too skin a cat."

I believe that this applies here as well.

I've never heard that one, myself. Or variations on it. [Pokemon idioms usually aren't so violent, after all.] Which memories have you stored, so far?

Humans here have odd obsessions about cats. I don't entirely understand it...

I have a selection of small items that each store the memory of something of minor importance o each person precious to me at home, and each person I value in Deerington. It's a set of rings and jewelry. Cheap items but good enough for this purpose. No more than a few minutes here and there. I update it.

I have also stored... a tutorial for the use of the items and the fight to acquire the cure to the plague from last year. It was by far the one I was most concerned in having detailed directions to, should someone get it again.

In my humble opinion, they do have a certain aloofness about them that's nonetheless admirable. [The Erkens family crest is a Persian, after all.]

Those all sound...quite important to have. Are those instructions easily accessible, should...should you become incapacitated?

Oh... it's cute in its own way. I just don't quite understand the scale of it around here myself.

mmm? Oh yes. There's a note on the one that is a tutorial in my handwriting. So long as I remember how to read when I wake I should be able to see it clearly. And Susan has instructions to guide me to it if I fuss.

Agreed. Anything that would require me to do that... is something I'd rather not encounter. But it's best to be safe.
